Mermen By Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

Mermen
by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

Book Synopsis

From New York Times Bestseller Mimi Jean Pamfiloff

These Mermen Don't Have Tails, Their Deadly as Hell, and They've Got Something He Wants...

INFAMOUS BACHELOR and SELF-MADE BILLIONAIRE ROEN DORAN IS A BASTARD. Yes, he knows it. And no, he doesn't care. He's got money and power, and he depends on no one. But when his estranged father dies, willing him a secret island, Roen will come face to face with an even bigger secret: its occupants. And these savage, sea-obsessed warriors are quick to make their position clear: Leave now or die.

There's only one problem. Nobody tells Roen what to do. Ever. Oh, and one other thing. He's just met the island's other new "guest" and something about her brings out his possessive side.

SOLE SHIPWRECK SURVIVOR LIV STRATTON had been adrift at sea for ten grueling days when salvation miraculously appeared: an uncharted island. Only, the deceivingly beautiful men who live there aren't interested in saving her. No, not at all. Because they somehow believe she is their property, a gift from the ocean to do with as they please. This is not good.

Her only hope? Billionaire Roen Doran, of all people. A man who's said to care for nothing and no one. But if he's so heartless, then why is he about to risk everything to help her?

NOTE FROM MIMI ABOUT MERMEN: Anyone who has read the Accidental Series or King knows I love to flip things on their heads. Mermen is no exception. THIS IS NOT A FLUFFY STORY ABOUT men with fins and tails who sweep ladies off their feet and make them long to be mermaids. Uh-uh. This is NOT that kind of story. Nobody in their right mind would want to hang out with these very beautiful yet dangerous men (who don't actually have tails, fins, or gills, by the way) NOR would anyone want to be their mates. Well, at least, not me! Run. Away!!

Hope you enjoy the ride. - MIMI

Well Mimi has done it once again she has left me in utter amazement of her talent. In the past couple of years Mimi has brought us the Accidentally Series , Happy Pants , King , and the Fate series and now she has done it again with Mermen. In Mermen you will be transported to a magical island in the middle of the sea named El Corazon. The island is more that it seems and so are the men that protect it. WARNING CLIFFS AHEAD !!!!! If you have read any of Mimi's books then you  know she is the Queen of Cliffhangers and this book is no exception so we can only hope that book two comes out soon so we are not left waiting for to long.

Troika Synopsis

In book one of Unconventional Love: Jenika leaves her hometown after experiencing the worst of what life had in store for her: grieving a parent who meant everything to her, the loss of her job, and even the betrayal of her fiancé and best friend. While trying to find inner peace once more, she lands in the small town of Troika, MT and not only is the town not what it seems-it turns out to be the place she craves and longs for, one that offers love, acceptance, and the life she has always dreamed about.
Jase, Koen, and Ty have been friends a long time. Their lives are entwined with business and family, though missing something vital to be complete. When Jenika shows up in their town, the thoughts of having it all, quickly surfaces in their minds as they find they want the same thing from her.
No road comes without bumps and as this foursome struggles with separate issues, it leaves them wondering if they will reach their end goal: the life they crave, need, and the union that will fill the void they each carry.
Only two things stand in their way: Pasts that threaten to keep them apart and the acceptance of others for their unconventional love.

REVIEW

***** Five Stars

This book was amazing which didn't surprise me Zana is an amazing writer. This is Zana's second book and the first book in the Unconventional Love Series. It begins with Jenika having one of the worst days a girl could dream of she has just lost her dad now her job only to come home to find her best friend and fiancee in her father's bed. What is a girl to do when you lose everything you ever wanted in the span of a few months? Jenika decides that if she has any chance of staying sane she needs to start over again far away from her small town and her cheating ex.It sounds like a good plan that is until she breaks down in the small town of Troika a couple of days before the 4th of July and meets Jase, Koen, and Ty. She has no idea her life will never be the same. I couldn't put this book down I stayed up most of the night so I could finish. If you are into Menage then you need to get well acquainted with the name Zana King because you will be hard pressed to find a better Arthur in this genre of books.

Pack Princess By Aimee Easterling

Pack Princess
By Aimee Easterling
*****Stars

Amazon

(Goodreads Summary)

As the first female alpha in living memory, Terra Wilder already has her hands full bringing old-fashioned uncles and cousins into line. But with a regional gathering of the ten clans on the horizon, the shifter will soon be faced with an even more arduous task: holding her own against a lineup of power-hungry pack leaders.

Justin Young is the strongest of the opposing alphas, and he also happens to be the handsome, but disturbing older brother of Terra's own mate. Justin is far too powerful to vanquish in a pitched battle, so Terra instead opts to trick the alpha into supporting her cause by pretending to be a pack princess on the prowl for a husband.

Flirting with a shifter who looks like a dark reflection of her true mate is no fun, but if Terra doesn't maintain her clan's independence, her male relatives risk being tossed out into the cold while her female cousins are turned into chattel. On the other hand, if Terra succeeds, she might just lose herself --- and her mate --- in the process.

Pack Princess is the second book of the Wolf Rampant series, which begins with Shiftless.

Pack Princess Review

This is one of those books that you think you have everything worked out in the first couple of chapters, you think you know exactly what is going to happen. Well, you would be sadly mistaken with this book just when you think you have something figured out you are thrown for a loop. This is one of the reasons I love to read Aimee's books she never leaves you bored and you get way more than your moneys worth.
If you are looking for a strong female heroine and a sexy as hell Werewolf shifter well you have come to the right place. You might as well say #JustTakeMyMoneyNow.

Don't forget to read the first book in this series

Shiftless

(Goodreads Summary)
PMS is no fun for werewolves.

Forget the full moon, female werewolves shift uncontrollably at that time of the month. But after years of practice, teenaged Terra learns to squash her wolf, which allows her to flee the repressive village where she grew up.

A decade later, Terra realizes she has an even worse problem. After hiding from her wolf for so long, she is now shiftless, unable to change back into canine form.

When her father shows up with an ultimatum, Terra knows she'll have to learn to shift or return to her place in her family's pack. Will Wolfie, a nearby alpha who's more wolf than man, be a stumbling block in Terra's quest to maintain her freedom?

As Terra struggles to escape two werewolf packs that seem poised to suck her back in, the real question becomes --- does she really want to stay away
